......................................................... 21st July 2007 - Reading Road Chineham. Dragon fly climb out of the pond and up the brick wall to pull off their submarine coats and turn into aircraft! How do they fit it all in?
June 2007 Michael Devenport of Saffron Close watched these little ring necked doves being hatched and reared in a nest in their pergola within two metres of their back door. One youngster was later sadly seen to be taken by a Kestrel.
April 2007 Malcolm Bottrill sends in three cracking pictures and reports :- The Heron has been eyeing up the pond (fortunately netted) from the neighbours roof .
The Blue Tits prefer the terrace box built for Sparrows.
Our Sparrow Hawk has been back as the Pigeons and Doves are easy prey.
Dragon fly lay their eggs in the pond. 8th July 2006
